When you think Hypochlorous spray you think simple ingredients like water, Hypochlorous acid, and sodium. This however, contains many more ingredients. So while this does calm and relieve your skin of redness. Frequent use especially in one day will cause acne. At least for oily acne skin type. It’s just too many ingredients in something that should be a simplistic formula. It’s definitely something to keep in mind when you are purchasing. Especially if you’re looking for a Hypochlorous spray.
Compared to similar hypochlorous acid products such as Tower 28 SOS Spray or e11ememt, I found this had more positive skincare benefits. y skin is really dry, so in my experience, hypochlorous acid by itself can leave it feeling even dryer after spraying (yes, even with moisturizer) but this one actually felt moisturizing. I’ve been using The Lepique Hypochlorous Acid Relief and Purifying Spray to soothe my sensitive, acne-prone skin after I wash my face. The cleansers and exfoliators I use to treat my other skincare concerns can often leave it red and angry. When I first sprayed it, I was surprised by the strong natural herbal scent. However, it’s refreshing; and it makes sense because of the green tea and centella in the ingredients. The atomizer delivers a perfect, lightweight spray. I’ve been using it for several weeks without any clogs or issues. And I’ve still got a lot left. For the price, the amount you get is very comparable to other brands; and I think the formula is better. My one minor criticism is that the cap is very cheap and fragile. I dropped it once at close range and it shattered. This issue doesn’t effect the product itself but it does bother me not being able to use the lid. I feel like a smaller, simpler cap would’ve been easier and less prone to breakage. Anyway, be careful so you don’t end up with a broken cap like me. If you have dry skin and hypochlorous acid alone doesn’t feel like it does enough for your skin, this is the perfect upgrade. Overall, an amazing product for. a decent price.
I am very happy with this facial spray. It feels refreshing on the skin and has been easy to add into my daily routine. The mist is fine and even, so it applies nicely without soaking the face or wasting product. What I like most is how calming it feels, especially on days when my skin looks a little red or irritated. It leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed, and more balanced after use. It dries quickly and does not leave behind any sticky residue, which is a big plus. The formula feels gentle and lightweight. It layers well with the rest of my skincare products and did not feel harsh in my experience. I also appreciate that it can be used throughout the day whenever my skin needs a quick refresh. The bottle size is generous for the price, and the packaging feels well made. The spray nozzle works well and gives a consistent mist each time. A few sprays go a long way, so it should last a good amount of time. Overall, this is a great product for anyone looking for a simple and soothing facial mist. It feels calming, easy to use, and has been a nice addition to my skincare routine. I would definitely purchase it again.

So I originally thought this was one of those super basic hypochlorous sprays, but after actually reading the ingredient list, it’s definitely more complicated than that. It does have hypochlorous acid, which is the ingredient that helps calm irritation and deal with bacteria, and it’s something your body naturally makes, so it’s usually pretty gentle. There are also some genuinely nice additions like allantoin and centella asiatica, which are both really good for soothing stressed skin, plus green tea extract for a little antioxidant support. At the same time, there are a bunch of humectants like butylene glycol and tripropylene glycol that help with hydration, but depending on how reactive your skin is, those can go either way. The part that kind of throws me off is the eucalyptus oil, because that’s basically fragrance and can be irritating, which feels a little weird in a product that’s supposed to be calming. I will admit though that it gives this spray a clean refreshing scent. There are also several stabilizers and solubilizers in here, which aren’t necessarily bad, but they make the formula feel less simple compared to other hypochlorous sprays that stick to just a few ingredients. Overall, it does have some good soothing components, but it doesn’t feel as gentle or minimal as I expected, so if your skin is super sensitive, this might not be the safest option. IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO NOTE: Hypochlorous acid is very unstable, and light speeds up its breakdown. Once that happens, the spray becomes much less effective for antibacterial or skin calming benefits. You will want to be sure to store this in a dark cool place since it’s in a clear bottle.

I love hypochlorous acid to soothe eczema and skin irritation and purify/clarify the skin (and I’ve also heard it helps with acne, which makes sense because it helps to gently kill bacteria on our skin). This spray also has some other ingredients like aloe to make it extra soothing, which I like. It helped clear up some irritation I had below my eye recently (I believe the irritation was caused by accidentally using two products with retinol on my undereyes) in just a day or so; one of the other things I like about HOCl is it can be used around the eyes without burning or drying out my eyes. It’s also helped soothe and combat some of the eczema I’ve been having since the weather here has been drastically changing back and forth. I also use it like a toner mist when my skin is stressed (and it works great before makeup too). That Tower28 rescue mist that went viral several years ago is hypochlorous acid so if you liked that product, you’ll most likely enjoy this one too. This is also a good value; the bottle is large and I expect it’ll last me a long time too. It also comes out as a very fine mist (no heavy water droplets) so I’ve even used it after doing my makeup when my skin has been upset and it didn’t mess my makeup up. I highly recommend!
